A tale of hard work and initiative by past and present villagers
Many fund raising events have contributed to the building, extension and maintenance of this large fine & modern Village Hall.
The association with the Annual Stoke Goldington Steam Rally and Country Fayre has in the past contributed funds to the building and upkeep of the Hall.
Sadly, this event no longer takes place, but has evolved to smaller events run by local groups.
The hall is located on parkland donated to the village by the Carlile family, the last owners of the village.
This affords the hall fine views over open countryside and the village recreation ground.
